Planning for Paris

I've been voraciously reading guidebooks, restaurant guides, pouring over maps, reading Paris Match, looking at others' blogs ... whatever I can get my hands on to contribute to a fun and inspiring trip.

The Pudlo guide, published for the first time in English, is very detailed and informative. I'm eager to try their recommendations for chef, young chef, bistro, best value, hostess, baker, and pastry chefs of the year. I plan to eat and peoplewatch my way through Paris, and look for more things I like along the way.

I'm also deciding which shoes to bring. I'm leaning toward buying what I want while I'm there, after all, that is a primary point of travelling from Lake Tahoe to Paris!

Paris Next Week

I'm leaving for Paris next week and am so excited! I'm eager to see what people are wearing, what they're doing, how they're behaving, what they're eating and gorgeous architecture!

And since the Rugby World Cup is being held at the same time ... I'm sure the sidewalk scenery will be interesting!
